Monika Machon

Monika Machon is a former Senior Vice President & Treasurer (2013-16) and Chief Investment Officer/Global Head of Asset Management (2009-13) of AIG. Previously, she held other senior positions within the AIG group, including Head of Fixed Income and CEO of AIG Investments Europe. Before joining AIG in 1998, Monika held banking and investment positions at various financial institutions in the US and the UK.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of GAM Holding AG where she chairs the risk committee and serves as a member of the audit committee. She also serves on the board of the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding and chairs its investment committee.

Monika holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University as well as a Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law. She is a CFA Charterholder.
