Sari Miller has been a lead investor in numerous startups and social ventures as well as an entrepreneurial leader of large financial services companies. She was a Partner, EVP and CFO of an insurance company that was sold to AIG, and she founded an insurance company that IPO’d.
In the last decade, Sari has focused on impact-for-profit ventures. She was the first angel investor in Leapfrog Investments, a private equity fund manager with $2 billion AuM that specializes in financial services in emerging markets and whose firms reach 342 million people. She was also an angel investor in Grassroots Business Fund, an equity and debt asset manager, and in Switch & Data Facilities, which IPO’d before being sold to Equinix.
Sari earned a BA from Barnard College, Columbia University, and an MBA from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
